In the old days (20 years ago) having a website was somewhat a novelty, if you had one you were official, not many people had one. I remember back then the Internet was mainly used to listen to music and look up music lyrics (wow time has changed) but fast forward to 2011 and everyone and there mother has a website or blog. Now a days people have website for there pets, business, hobbies and anything else you can think of. Of course if you have a business are trying to sell something the internet is the cheapest and easiest way to sell things. The other day while i was driving on the freeway with my friend and i saw this SUV with with a domain name plastered on the back window it was promoting a website called http://iusedtosmoke.com So i decided to check it out and it turns out its website that promotes e-cigs. That’s the beauty and power of domain names if there catchy and memorable you’ll remember them. If you live in the San Fernando Valley you see alot of things from decals that state what city in Mexico your from to the name of your favorite plastered on your windshield. Most of the time your driving and you see these eyesore’s on the street or free way, sometimes you may even find them at the grocery’s parking lot. I found perhaps the ugliest decoration on a car, no its not the a bulls horn’s, its paper cups. Upon closer inspection i found plastic cups, a plastic bat, ping-pong paddles, multiple antenna balls, a plastic salary bowl and a slew of other objects that probably belong in the kitchen instead of on your car.

This economic recession has put a dent on most peoples budgets, especially my exercise budget! I can no longer afford to pay the $300 Dollars for my gym membership at Golds Gym. What should i do now? Should i stop working out? Sit on the couch and wait to get fat? Oh i know i can start the Ghetto Workout.

The Ghetto Workout is not a new concept here in the states (previous ghetto workout post) its been around for a while, but now there doing it in Russia.  The concept is simple, you go to the local park and use your the equipment to exercise. You can use everything from the trashcans to the frame of the monkey bars. Its simple and it doesn’t cost a dollar.  In the video below the Russian guy is using the rim of a basketball net to workout.

If you’ve picked up a lowrider magazine, there is one thing that stands out beside the over chromed cars and occasional gaudy bicycles, its the models! LowRider Magazine is known for having some great looking models on there pages. What stands out from mainstream magazines such as FHM or STuff is that the models are usually Latina or of color. They do throw in the occasional “Huera” in the photo shoot. Ay Chihuahua…. How can you make this magazine any better? the combination of great looking models and cars any better? Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena is going to be paid for the rest of her life. Why? Because she had Arnold’s Kid!. Sidenote: She was making 1,200 dollars a week when she worked at Arnold’s home, that’s about $4,800 a month and $57,600 a years. She makes more money than me, and I have a college education. Had i known i could make that much money being a housekeeper i never would have gone to school. She also a nice luxury home in Bakersfield probably already paid for by arnold. She will more than likely receive child support checks from the “Governator”. Sure she may have it made but what about Arnold? Was it worth it for him? Was the subordinate bootie worth it? Probably not, he lost his upcoming movie deals, his “Governator” Cartoon, his image is tarnished and his wife divorced him. At least there is Guatemalan Arnold out there, maybe he’ll grow up to be like his dad, the latino Arnold Schwanegger.

Gina Silva is a news anchor on channel eleven (Fox on the west coast). She does a little of everything, something called special investigations (what?) weather but she obviously has a knack for entertainment reporting. She’s been on fox for a while but she’s never been a Lauren Sanchez or a Maria Quiban she’s definitely had some exposure. One reason they should show more Ginal Silva on television, check out this video of her visiting a costume shop for Good Day LA. Awesome!

The news is perhaps the most boring and depressing form of show on television.  Ninety percent of the time the information provided deals with somebody being robbed, theft, corruption or information that most people don’t want to hear about or for that matter care about. But how do you make the news interesting? How do you get people to watch these talking heads? Of course with hot news anchors.
