The Los Angeles Body Art Expo 2008 was an incredible event. Tattoo artist from all over california were there. A maori tattoo artist garnered the most attention. He was doing a traditional maori tattoo on one of his clients (see pictures below). The body art expo also had several contest like the “best tattoo” and “best ass contest”. Shirtless people would walk around the expo showing off their body tattoos. The most interesting individual had to be the girl with the skin carving on her backside. Her entire backside is one elegant body carving - her willingness to demonstrate her body carving garnered attention for her art. A lack of hot babes made the expo a bit lackluster but the abundance of “interesting” people made the expo interesting.
